My lovely cousin Carly and her fiance, Joe, planned a beautiful lakeside wedding in the back yard of my Aunt and Uncle’s house in Hendricks, Minnesota.  It’s literally on the border of South Dakota and Minnesota.  Shelley, Carly and Joe and all those who helped organize the celebration did a spectacular job.  It was an elegant and beautiful affair.

I’m also quite proud to mention that my dad built the gorgeous chuppah that was the centerpiece of the ceremony and my lovely husband played Beatles tunes on his guitar for the entire ceremony.

One of my favorite moments of the night was when my Uncle Ben gave his toast.  It was a tender speech that made me, and I’m sure everyone else, tear up.  Congrats on your new marriage Carly and Joe, and on the beautiful life I know you’ll have together!
