Oh how I love it when clients introduce me to new lovely locations to shoot. Jen had this park in mind and I was so happy when I arrived. Our session was near dusk. The sun was glowing it pretty autumn light, and the foliage added beautiful texture to the images.
Here are few from tonight’s session. It was a fun time chasing down Cal, a spunky toddler. He didn’t want to stop moving! And, little Abby was adorable and glad to pose and smile for me!

What a beautiful summer day, October 8, 2011, turned out to be! It got up to 83 degrees in Minneapolis! The weather has been crazy this year. When I arrived at Plymouth Congregational Church, I already knew it would be a special day. Alarica is a good friend of my friend and former bride, Katie. When I walked into the bride’s room, I saw a beautifully unique blue wedding dress. Alarica’s bridesmaids were dressed in a darker shade of blue. The day went fast. We were able to get a nice variety of portraits of Alarica and Josh, as well as a lot of the wedding party, family, and extended family. After the ceremony, it was off to Cedars Hall in Northeast Minneapolis. The wedding party was announced in, and the reception started with an invitation to the entire wedding party and guests to get up and dance. It was an exciting party, with lots of yummy food, and of course, cake.

It was a beautiful day for a family photo session. I’ve been photographing this family since the youngest was only a few months old. I can hardly believe how big he’s gotten!

It was a beautiful day to photograph this sweet family. Sara is my dentist, and she had George a month after I had Izzy. We talked every visit about a future photo shoot and I’m so glad we were finally able to do it! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
